Lead Technician
Fulltime Position
The Lead Technician assumes a pivotal role in installing and servicing products, delivering exceptional customer experiences at their job sites. The Lead Technician exercises sound judgment and excellent communication skills while liaising directly with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are executed to perfection. In addition, the Lead Technician delegates tasks to the trim tech and organizes supplies, products, and transportation of high-value equipment to the job site as part of their daily routine.
Responsibilities

The incumbent shall be responsible for the complete on-site installation of advanced audiovisual systems while ensuring compliance with company standards and project timelines. This includes managing the van stock, tools, and vehicle appearance while keeping track of van maintenance. They shall liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that project expectations and timelines are met. Effective communication and attention to detail in reviewing sales orders, product lists, and work scope will be critical for the efficient deployment of equipment.

In addition, the Lead Technician shall set up, configure, and program networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs.

They will demonstrate system capabilities to customers and make on-site programming changes.

The incumbent will also be responsible for daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software, maintaining job site cleanliness, and complying with builder site requirements.

The Lead Technician will exercise fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within their care. They shall be accountable for time and materials while ensuring accurate time clock entries and job costing. They may also be required to be on-call and travel to job sites locally.

Lead Technician shall demonstrate excellent customer service skills, including the ability to work with high-profile and high-demand customers, and adhere to state and federal laws, including traffic laws.
Qualifications
- The Lead Technician position requires a minimum of three years' experience in AV installation or a related field. Continual education on audio, video, security, and lighting systems is essential to stay current in the industry. Proficiency in reading and understanding house plans and job site documentation is required. Basic knowledge of low voltage wiring and connectivity is necessary, along with troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate must possess basic computer skills and be able to quickly adapt to the company's job management software. Attention to detail is crucial, particularly in regards to the placement of key components and system wiring.
